Hamdan bin Zayed Receives OCFA's ISO Certificate
WAM, 25 December 2011: The Ruler's Representative in the Western Region H.H. Sheikh Hamdan bin Zayed Al Nahyan received here today Hazza Mohammed Falah Al Qahtani, Director-General of the UAE Office for the Coordination of Foreign Aid (OCFA) who handed him the ISO 9001 certificate which was awarded to the Office as a recognition to its quality management system.
Sheikh Hamdan, who is the President of the OCFA, praised the vision of President His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Vice President and Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum and General His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces and their continuous support to the Emirati foreign aid sector which led the UAE to become one of the world's leading donors.
Sheikh Hamdan said the OCFA reflects UAE leadership's concern about the current state of affairs in the different areas of the world and the keenness to provide solutions for developing most vulnerable communities there.
"This certificate comes as a recognition to persistence, teamwork and dedication in pursuing quality. It is a fruit of investing in the capabilities of the young Emiratis who represent a pillar for development," he added.
