The Field Support Unit issues country profiles of vulnerable countries of interest; regular reports on 'Emergencies in Focus' and other humanitarian crisis situations.
It is developing resources that will help UAE donor organizations to respond in a coordinated manner to humanitarian emergencies. These resources include an early warning system for potential emergencies; and, a Field Assessment and Support Team (FAST) approach to immediate crisis response.
